What is Memory Keeper Studio?

A private home for family photos: store originals, organize them the way a scrapbooker thinks, and share only what you choose.

How is this different from Google Photos or iCloud?

Those products are excellent cameras-to-cloud. We are a studio. You are the customer, not the inventory. No ad-funded memories feed. AI is optional. Sharing is invitation-only collections, not a social graph. We are building so our operators cannot open your pictures in an admin tool.

Who can see my photos?

You, members of your household you invite, and people who accept a specific share link you create. We do not sell access to your library.

Do you look at our pictures?

Day-to-day staff support is built around accounts and storage, not a photo browser. Safety scanning (when enabled) is automated; suspected illegal material follows a restricted legal process, not a casual look by the help desk.

Do you use our photos to train AI?

No. Household AI tagging (on Story and Heritage) runs to help your library. We do not put your photos into a public training set.

Can I turn AI off?

Yes. Keep has no automatic tagging. Higher plans can disable AI for the household and keep manual tags.

How do you sign in?

Microsoft Entra External ID — email or social sign-in, with multi-factor authentication. We do not want a Memory Keeper password database if we can avoid it.

Where are photos stored? What if a datacenter fails?

Pictures live in Azure Blob Storage in the United States, on a geo-redundant (GZRS) account: copies in a paired region if the primary has a major outage. That is Microsoft’s durability for the bits, not a second product you log into. We still recommend you keep important originals you care about.

What happens if I delete something?

Today, delete is serious. A recycle window (restore for 30–90 days) is planned for paid plans. Until that ships, treat delete as permanent.

Can I export everything?

Export is on the Keep plan’s promise. A full takeout-style pack is still being built. You can already download individual originals.

Is there a phone app?

The library works in a mobile browser now. Native iPhone and Android apps are planned — the same studio, not a separate product.

What about kids in our photos?

Family pictures of children belong in a family archive. We prohibit illegal sexual content involving minors and will report it as required by law. Ordinary family photos are the point of the product.

How do I get in before you sell subscriptions?

Request a trial. We’ll send a code. The prices on this site are what we intend to charge when billing goes live.
